Deception by Design — A Breakout Interactive Theater Experience

 

Step into a night of drama, secrets, and Breakout-level chaos. In Deception by Design, you’re not just sitting in the audience — you’re stepping straight into the story. This is immersive theater with a twist:

  • You’ll mingle with the characters.
  • You’ll overhear private conversations.
  • You’ll spot clues… and maybe even red herrings.

Every person in the room has something to hide — and it’s up to you to figure out who’s telling the truth, who’s lying, and why. The line between actor and audience is gone. You’re part of the plot, and every choice you make could change the ending. Whether you’re a seasoned puzzle-solver or just here for the drama, you’ll find yourself caught in a web of suspicion and intrigue that only Breakout can deliver.

  • Format: Live interactive theater game
  • Duration: 60–90 minutes of immersive gameplay
  • Location: Linya-Linya HQ, 5th floor Magnitude Bldg., E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Quezon City
  • Setting: An intimate performance space where you’re part of the action
  • Recommended For: Ages 16+ (due to themes of deception and tension)
  • Ticket Fee: ₱1,000 per person — includes a FREE DRINK from Kape Kape
  • Seats are limited, but the suspicion is unlimited.

VIRTUAL ESCAPE ROOM AVATAR (VERA)

- You can now PLAN as a team, SOLVE puzzles and ESCAPE virtually through a Virtual Escape Room Avatar (VERA)!

- Featuring our crowd-favorite Clownhouse room, your very own VERA will be your eyes, ears, hands and feet that will be navigating through our escape room as you give your commands online.

- Minimum Team Size: 4 Users

- Maximum Team Size: 12 Users

Our Low Prices are as follows:
- Team of 4 users = P400 per user
- For 5 - 12 users = P350 per user

DECEMBER 25, 2018 EDITION

  • This started out our #BreakoutOnlineChallenge Series! It looks like a blank photo, but it is certainly not. Click here to try and solve it!
  • Warning, to date only 40 people has solved this edition. Succeeding challenges were made easier using this edition as a benchmark.

APRIL 5, 2019 EDITION

  • This is our easiest edition to date with over 223 finishers. Click here to try and solve it!
  • Don't be deceived with the number of finishers though! There was still thousands of players that didn't solve it.

APRIL 22, 2019 EDITION

  • This is a special edition made by 'Camp Breakout' and their evil / happy campers: Aldwin, Carmella, Cindel, Juliene, Kyle, and Ronnie. They are an amazing group of current players from our Breakout Takeout Living Legends Edition.
  • They are currently still stuck in Puzzle 48 of our 50 puzzle special challenge so they made their own set of puzzles to try and share the frustration to others. Click here to try and solve it!
